CLASSES
VINYASA FLOW
Using the breath to synchronize and link each asana
Vinyasa Flow is a slightly faster flowing style of yoga. There is a creative element, so no two classes will be the same. In Vinyasa Flow there is a greater focus on using the breath to move between postures and create heat within the body.
SLOW FLOW
Move deeper into your practice
With elements of Yin Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. Slow Flow focuses on holding asanas for a longer period of time to reach the connective tissues improving flexibility and boosting circulation to the joints. This class is perfect for those looking for a more therapeutic practice.
CHAIR YOGA
For seniors and those with less mobility
Chair Yoga is ideal for yogis looking for a very gentle practice. It is a form of yoga therapy that is practiced sitting on, or standing using a chair for extra support. It is also a great way to learn how to inject movement into daily routines for example on long flights and whilst at work.

Rebuild your strength
Bond with your baby
Reconnect with yourself
Yoga to support you and your body's healing journey after birth.
Postnatal yoga is a fantastic way to reintroduce your body to exercise after giving birth. Becoming a mother is a huge change for both your body and mind. By practising yoga you can take the time to reconnect with yourself, rebuild strength and flexibility, heal your body and bond with your baby.
Whether you are new to yoga or already had a dedicated pre pregnancy practice, yoga has endless benefits for postnatal mothers.

Benefits include:
-
Time to rest, relax and reconnect - yoga allows you to slow down and take time for yourself and your baby.
-
Rebuild flexibility, strength and muscle tone - postnatal yoga focuses on exercises to improve your posture, restore your core strength and relieve back pain
-
Restores hormonal balance
-
Increase circulation - stimulates cell growth and repair, helps to detox the body and balances hormones
-
Meet women on the same journey as you - many special friendships are created at postnatal classes
-
Improve sleep - yoga helps to regulate your sleep cycle as it reduces stress and tension
-
Breath work practice - a powerful tool to help you relax and find moments of calm in your day
-
Release tension, aches and pains in the body - gentle stretches will help ease tension and open up your body
-
Strengthen the pelvic floor muscles - this is important to help your body heal. Pelvic floor exercises increase blood flow, reduce inflammation and aid recovery.
-
Bond with your baby - time to have fun and bond with your baby
-
Time for yourself - postnatal yoga can also be done without your baby for much needed 'me time'

Postnatal classes with me are nurturing and slow with an emphasis on gentle stretches to ease tension and open up space in the body. We will build up to exercises to strengthen the core and pelvic floor muscles. My classes are suitable for all abilities and are designed to support you both physically and emotionally. There is no judgement and no expectations, simply turn up as you are.

I currently work with postnatal women on a 1:1 basis so that I can tailor the class specifically to the mothers requirements.
We can work on a range of areas including:
-
Improving posture
-
Relaxation
-
Diastasis Recti (widening of the abdominal tissues)
-
Back pain
-
Pelvic Floor
-
Rebuilding deep core
-
Breathing
-
Hip and pelvic tightness
I aim to assist mothers on their postnatal healing journey by leading yoga classes to empower and nurture the mother. Honouring the female body for what it has achieved.
